Week 2: I did Maybell with another two written and an artistic module
An art piece themed around her
More about her:
Personality:
Bubbly and sweet she is overly welcoming and friendly to anyone she comes across. She will shower you in attention and kindness. So much so that you won’t even know what to do with yourself afterward. Her sweet personality naturally draws people in, and she always seems to find herself surrounded by people. One moment she would have snuck away to get a moment alone, and the next tons of people have found her hideaway oblivious of her intention to getaway. Yet she would feel awful if she told them what her true feelings were so she puts on an act of happiness. She isn’t always putting up an act however, it usually is that she is actually happy to see you. Despite seemingly wearing her emotions openly on her sleeve, she actually usually reserves most of her emotions for those who she is closer to and cares more about. She often finds herself simply and truly opening her heart to Lorelei and telling her all the things that bothered her. For some reason, she has found that Lorelei understands her even when she hasn’t said a single word.

A day in the life of Maybell
Gentle rays of light beamed through a little stained glass window landing gently on Maybell’s face. Letting out a long drawn-out yawn, Maybell slowly opened her drowsy eyes. Knowing that there was work to be done and things to see to she stretched her paws out hoping to push away the tiredness that crept itself in. She made her way to the little wooden cabinets of her little abode and reached up and opened them. Peering in she pondered her choices of tea this morning. Perhaps it was too early to make any important decisions such as this one. Moving to the teapot she quickly filled it with water and set it above a little stove. Following her through these steps of her morning routine were chirps, barks, and mews. Reaching into another cabinet she piled different types of food into her arms are carried them over to a counter that was covered in various types of bowls. Going from one bowl to another she fills each one with the food she had carried over. After putting all of the bags and boxes of food away she places all of the little and large bowls out knowing her creatures would find their way to them.
Maybell heard a quick knock on her door. She listened closely hoping for a minute that either her visitor would leave or she would hear Lorelei’s voice call out to her from beyond the doorway. The sharp whistle of the teapot gave her away as very much awake so there was no ignoring whoever was outside her door. She made the decision on which tea she should have and made herself a cup of it. While she let that steep she peeked out her door. The visitor seemed familiar to Maybel, but she couldn’t quite place his name. Letting him in, she greeted him and offered him a cup of the tea she was having. He eagerly accepted the invitation and she led him to another room with walls full of knickknacks, naping creatures, and many books. In the center was a large wooden table surrounded by many seats. She pulled a chair out for him and told him to wait there while she prepared the tea. She had figured her guest would want some so she already had one prepared. She also filled a little plate with various cookies, sweets, biscuits, and a few breakfast items. She sat and listened to her visitor tell her the tales of his journey and how they led him to her little home. He a sip of the tea, complimented it, and then drank much more. While he barely touched any of the food items she brought out, she definitely partook in all of her favorite things. Even if they weren’t traditionally for breakfast. Whenever he would joke about one thing or another Maybell used her much practiced fake laugh. She usually loved visitors, but she really was simply waiting for nightfall to come. She wondered was Lorelei was up to.
Once her guest took his leave, she began her daily chores. After she finally finished those, she made herself some lunch and sat outside munching while one of her animals laid peacefully next to her. After her lovely little lunch, it was time to continue working on one of her various projects. Which one of them was up to her. She easily chose and worked until dusk fell. She then cheerfully made preparations for dinner, and waited for Lorelei to join her. They cooked together and chatted together. Both telling stories of the day they had. Lorelei brought sweet little sugar cookies that had a little powdered sugar on them and some strawberry sugar. The cookies were absolutely delightful. Lorelei helped her feed all her animals’ dinner, while both of them laughed earnestly and fully. The night went by too quickly and Lorelei had to go back to her own home. So Maybell settled in for the night, already anticipating the night time they would be together.
Week 2: After two pretty different feeling attempts at Ratatoskr’s profile, I’m feeling pretty good about it! No relationships module this time… still sitting on that one. The whole profile is new :)
I formatted the profile and added three sections - a plot summary (titled “DEVIL’S CLAW”), character summaries (titled “WORMWOOD”), and a blurb about their current situation/relationship (titled “HOLLYHOCK). :D
(Oh I’m running a little over on the history section, oops. Didn’t realize this event was gonna keep the same thread, almost missed it entirely. >>)
(Timezones are hard to do right before bed apparently.)
Aleah is a new character I made during the Bingo RP, because why would I actually write a bio for one of the characters I’ve had for years and never bothered writing anything down for?
