Darn… wrong thread. Moving the contents.

I knew I was going to do it eventually. Don’t make forum posts when you’re sleepy, kids.

Actually, Crow given the relative frequency with which misposts have been happening, would it be possible to link the submissions thread in the banner rather than the discussion post? That’s why most people click on it, I imagine, and it seems redundant to click a link only to have to click another link.

Man am I feeling grateful right now that my weekends from work are on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s the only way I’ll be able to catch up. The rest of the month is turning out to be a perpetual game of catch up for me.  >.< Thanks for showing the prompt list in advance in calendar form, since it’s the only way I’ve been able to wrap my head around planning my time off efficiently.

Hyasynthetic
I will pass that request on to glitch! I agree that it would make sense, and have come pretty close to making the same mistake myself, a couple of times.

raus, I feel you there. I have consistent downtime at work - but much less so right now during my off hours. So, I tend to play catch up for the last few days on my first shift of the week. God forbid we have a super busy night, it would probably throw off my whole groove. :T

Thanks, Crow! It’s much appreciated!

Great idea Hyasynthetic, thanks!

(Especially this round, because the cats got into a ton of trouble while I was marking and I needed to get up and shoo them off several times)

Whoo! Only a few more days and we’ve got it!

This is the first time I’ve participated in something like this, I’ve done NaNoWriMo several times but I’ve never done something with daily prompts to follow before. It’s a lot harder than my usual challenges. I admire those of you who do these challenges regularly even more now.

We’re nearing the end and even though I’m so tired of drawing at this point (that’s on me haha), I want to say I think I rally liked the way the deadlines this time were balanced between keeping people on pace, allowing some wiggle room for Life to Happen, and still keeping the momentum up for the month. I’m really impressed that so many of us (including my own lazy self) are gonna get to the end!

Though I admit laughing seeing the pages and pages added to threads in the few hours before rollover each week.

I look forward to seeing all the new shiny secret goobers on site soon :D

Oh so close now.  I wanted to pause and thank whomever came up with the genius of colouring each week something bold and easily recognizable, and for putting up all the prompts at once. I was able to time manage so much better, and colour coding meant I’ve been able to keep track so much faster.  Kudos to you wonderful colour person! ^=^

It’s been a long, long month, and thank you for allowing us to do writing as an alternate to drawing.  I’ve been able to join in this time c= and I can’t believe the super duper prize of allowing us to pick our very own secret coat ~ SQUEEEEEE!!!!! oUo

I’m in the voluntary evacuation zone for the easy fire.  Currently packing essentials so I’ll be ready to leave if it becomes mandatory.  Would like to finish Inktober though since it’s almost done. Is there an exception for those living in the fire danger zones?

I’m really sorry to hear that you’re having to deal with those wildfires! I hope you don’t have to evacuate because of it. Stay safe!!

If you wanted to post your submission for the 31st early, I would allow that given the circumstances. However, we won’t be granting any extensions for this particular activity - the end of November 1st is a hard deadline, so that I can get everything tallied up and prizes distributed as swiftly as possible.

Good news.  I’m out of the voluntary evacuation zone.

I AM FREE. I HAVE DONE IT. IT IS F I N I S H E D.

I’m so proud of everyone!

Posted 10/31/19

I finished Inktober!!!!

I don’t have enough exclamation marks because that’s something I never thought I’d do. I am so glad calligraphy practice counted even though I kinda realized that it would have been pointless to try the other types of calligraphy only after getting excited about being able to try that. <<

I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who helped make this Inktober possible! I really wanted to participate in one this year, and the prizes were definitely a motivator for me! (And I will finally get my hands on one of my long time favorite coats).

Good work everyone who participated!

Posted 10/31/19

I did it!

I can’t believe I got through the whole month! This was actually the first Inktober I ever participated in!

Great work to everyone, and congrats if you made to the end, too!

Also, Happy Halloween!

Posted 10/31/19
Wooo done \o/ This has been really fun :D First ever completed Inktober for me.
Posted 10/31/19

I can’t believe I managed it either. XD Being able to do writing helped so much in the last week, when I just had no time to art. This has been one of my favorite events ever. ouo<3

>.> Nanowrimo is next month. A similar event for that would be pretty awesome. >.> Just saying.

Posted 10/31/19
I did it. I’m free!
Posted 10/31/19
WE’RE FREE!! Happy Halloween, guys!! Man, this was a lot of fun and really challenging and I’m.. really surprised I made it considering how hectic this month was. Really glad prompts were up in advance. Thanks so much for this event! I had a great time overall. :)
