WIP Character Cavern

★ It’s been a long time since I roleplayed; since 2014 if I remember right. Once I was on a roleplay forum and I used to RP on tumblr but it’s been a while so please be patient with me while I try to find my footing.
★ I’m down for any genre or style. However, I’m not currently interested in romantic style RPs. This may change in the future and I will update this thread if that happens.
★ I tend to write third person present tense but I can switch to past tense if need be. I try to adjust when possible but I’m not comfortable doing first person RPs. I also tend to write anywhere between 2 - 6 paragraphs worth of content to give my partner plenty to work with. I expect the same amount of dedication in return.
★ 18+ RPs that involve violence, gore, drug use, and alcohol use are okay. Not interested in anything involving illicit adult activities, sorry.
    ★IMPORTANT! Before I RP any scenario with the above mentioned topics, I would prefer to privately discuss what is and is not okay among myself and whomever I’m RPing with. I don’t want anyone to be triggered or hurt because their RP partner didn’t know something could upset them.
★ That all being said, I would prefer to RP with people who are 18+. It’s nothing personal, just a preference. If you’re under 18 and would still like to RP, please send me an echo and we discuss things in private.
★ I can improvise for casual RPs but for things that are plot-centric or character growing I tend to want a structure and/or pre-planning to work around. I know some of the fun for people with RPing is the spontaneity and I want to respect that but I tend to get anxious if things start getting heavy and important and I don’t know where my RP partner wants to go with it.
★ My anxiety makes it extremely difficult to approach people to start a RP so feel free to message me to start something.
★ I have the great misfortune of being a grown adult with a full time job and other such wonderful obligations and hobbies I indulge in. Please be patient with me if I don’t respond right away. I will do my best to reply in a timely manner but I’m not always available, mentally or physically.
