Their Relationship:
Zack and Clare have something of a complicated relationship. While they love each other, they also like to pull pranks on each other. These pranks can often lead to hurt feelings between them. Both of these lovers are skilled wizards, which leads to more elaborate pranks, which lead to more hurt feelings. Despite all their differences and squabbles, they both love each other very much, and neither can imagine life in the cave without the other.
    Both Zack and Clare are extremely competitive. While this shared trait occasionally causes problems for their marriage, it’s generally a good thing. They love working together to overcome challenges or opponents.

Meeting:
They found each other shortly after they were carved. Neither of them could remember much from their previous life. They got along well, so they ran off to the sacred tree and eloped after a week of knowing each other. The elders of the village they were carved in were outraged that the couple would enter a geness so carelessly. The damage already having been done, the elders banned the two from the village to set an example for future ineki to be carved.

Starting a New Life Together:
After being banned from their village, Clare and Zack set out on the road. Unable to afford a place to live, they took to living in a tent, going from city to city. They both had a natural gift when it came to using magic, so they honed their skills and started doing magic shows for spare change. While it certainly wasn’t a glamorous life, they got by and enjoyed it.

Current Situation:
Zack and Clare have both joined a wizard guild called Sapphire Phoenix. They have made a home there, and are getting along quite well with the other wizards.

Sprout’s Arrival:
-One day Zack returned from a jog to find Clare sitting with a giant flower-
Clare: Look what I found! Isn’t it pretty!
Zack: Whoa, that’s certainly a large flower, where’d you find it? *thinking to himself that this is one of Clare’s illusions*
Clare: It just kinda came up!
Zack: Wait…Is that a… Sprout?!
Clare: A what?
Zack: That’s not funny, stop that!
Clare: Stop what? I’m not doing anything!
Sprout: *moves slightly*
Zack: Oh come on, there’s no way that’s a real flower! *waves paw at a petal, trying to break the illusion* *feels something soft under his paw*
Clare: Don’t hit it!
Zack: *takes a couple steps back and goes pale*
Clare: What’s wrong?
Zack: …I think…Uh…I think we’re going to…be parents.
-This sparked a long conversation, as Clare had never seen a sprout before, and was ignorant to it’s purpose-

Raising a Baby:
They’re both a bit clueless when it comes to children. Clare’s natural maternal instincts have been their only guild in the process thus far.
