The strong, silent emotional rock of the trio, Valentine is sturdy and dependable. She always tries to lend a helping hand or a protecting sword to anyone who needs help. She’s intimidating to most at first, but once you get to know her you’ll find she has the heart of a marshmallow. She communicates through sign language, though there are some sounds she can make verbally she doesn’t have the capability to string complex words together. It’s a physical fault rather than a mental one, as she communicates complex ideas to whomever happens to know sign language (Victim does, Lovely is still learning). Valentine’s got a knack for swordplay, and claims to have had a formal education in the art. She doesn’t quite remember where she was taught, or by who…something about a fight under a tree with pink petals? It’s a sore subject, try not to pry too deeply if you’re not super well acquainted with each other. She does light exercise for fun, you’ll find her every morning jogging to a cliff to watch the sun rise through one of the many holes in the cave ceiling. You can join her, if you wish, she appreciates the company. 

The wisdom behind the other two more outspoken members of the geness, Victim is a much quieter character that tends to accidentally get drowned out in most interactions. They often find themselves playing the peacekeeper between their two rowdy partners, who at first were mostly just getting along for their sake until they began to warm up to each other for their own reasons. It took awhile. It took a long while. Victim is also the one of the trio who is most well-versed in magic, specifically the magic fueled by positive emotions that the trio’s weapons are infused with. They have a history with the trio’s nemesis Tyrant and his negative-emotion fueled magic, and they’ve been fighting him the longest. In a pinch they can infuse their fists with positive emotion magic and pummel shadow wraiths into submission that way, but that’s particularly risky since that magic is coming directly from Victim’s emotions, which can change from positive to negative in a fight very quickly. One last thing that Victim is capable of is much longer sustained flight than their other two partners, who mainly use their wings for short hops and jumps instead of gliding and riding the air currents blowing through the caves. You best beware if you’re a shadow wraith, they fire arrows much more easily from above.

Outgoing, outspoken, at times out of their depth, Lovely tries their best at whatever they set their mind to doing, so long as whatever they’re doing holds their attention long enough for them to complete the task at hand. They’re learning how to fight from Valentine since their proficiency with a sword is..beginners level, to put it politely. They’re determined to figure it out sooner or later, since they’ve got the most energy to burn out of the three. Aside from fighting, Lovely enjoys playing games and participating in sports, which they’re actually pretty decent at compared to most of the other things they try to do. They’re also the easiest to approach in conversation, as many find Victim’s dreamlike speech to be off-putting, and Valentine is a rather intimidating and intense person. The two other members of the geness often find themselves asking for Lovely’s help, which they find worrying because they’d rather not have their shared partner to wait on them hand and foot. Even though Lovely would gladly do so for their beloved partners, if necessary. And unfortunately, it seems it might become necessary as their fights with Tyrant and his magic wear on and on…and on…...........
