Zee and Auksinis Vienas

The story so far:
When Zee and Auksinis first met, Auk was terrified of Zee. Not to any fault of hers, he was simply a ophidiophobe, and had trouble with Kelph’s long scaly bodies. However, through much prodding and help from their friends, the two eventually became close friends. And through an accident of them more or less being forced to hang out, they ended up falling for one another. Fast forward and Auk’s cavern is no longer suitable for habitation, leading him to move in with Zee in her cabin by the sea. Unfortunately he’s also terrified of the water, as it nullifies his magical powers. But with a little help, perhaps one day the couple could truly enjoy their romantic retreat in full.

Auk’s Retrospective

After having had a sprout, the pair were thoroughly happy in their new home, learning as they went how to take care of the little kelphling. Unfortunately, Zee was deep in the mines when an accident caused a large portion of the lower section to collapse, causing chaos among the workers and shutting the place down while they tried to clear it up. Unfortunately, Zee was never found, having vanished somewhere deep underground. For a long time, Auk waited for her, long enough for their child to grow up and move out. He still hasn’t entirely given up, convinced she’s still alive somewhere far, far away.
