Klara loathes to remember her first meeting with Jasper. At the time, she was working at an adult toy shop, “Tantalizing Toys”. It was a great way to relieve the stress of school, watching awkward customers peruse the shelves. As such, Jasper was intriguing; he displayed no hesitancy whatsoever regardless of which revealing swaths of cloth he investigated. Klara offered to help him anyway, of course, and it was only after weeks of repeated visits that she finally realized he was a lingerie model, one of some renown and fame.
Luckily, Jasper was as sweet as ever and hardly seemed to notice her mortification. In fact, he had taken a shining to her during his repeated visits to the boutique and so asked her out on a date. It seemed that neither of them were sure it would work. It wasn’t just something fun but there was the natural hesitancy all relationships have at first, the back and forth as both parties feel the other out. Yet, they grew to be inseparable.
Their careers kept them both busy and for a number of years they spent great periods of time apart. Jasper became a model of hot demand while Klara graduated from business school and worked her way up the ranks at a local firm. One thing that kept them both grounded, always bringing them back together, was planning their extravagant wedding. Things were to be perfect and, somehow, they ended up being just that. Family was present, speeches were made, and they both looked their best.
After this, things returned almost instantly to normal. Jasper modeled. Klara became the CEO. They spent inconsistent time together but what time they shared was lovely. Eventually, Jasper convinced Klara to have a child. They decided to adopt and so brought Aiden into their lives. He was often seen trailing one or the other at their respective workplaces and their love deepened with their care for him.
Time changes all things. Jasper, as he grew older, was sought after less and less as a model. With a husband and child at home, Klara strove to rebalance her life and take more time away from work. They found each other anew, many things different, but their love the same. |
