Gage and Cade

Their relationship seems pretty rocky to those who aren’t familiar with them, but the trust they have for each other is made of solid steel. People not on their crew may see them fighting like cats and dogs (lmao) but they’re always honest. Cade may seem a bit rough on the outside but he’s got a soft spot for Gage. While Gage seems like a juvenile little goof ball, he has a serious side he doesn’t show to many.

It seems like fate wanted them together. They wouldn’t necessarily use the term soulmates; at least not lightly, but they were made for each other. Like two halves of the same coin. Cade helps Gage with communication skills and understanding the people around him. Gage helps Barricade stay in touch with the inherent joy of living and the magic of the little beauties in the world around him.

Neither of them feel they are truly ready for parenthood, they want to be able to adopt if the situation calls for it. They want to be the parents they deserved as children. Open and honest. Non-judgmental, safe. They’ve grown so much together that they want to share their love and joy with someone who needs it.
