Mesmer and Malygosa
Soul tree on an island,
In amongst the twisted sea,
Waves beat upon the shifting sand,
Heart calling out to you and me.
One is a nereid of the ocean, the other the soul of a powerful dragon. The moment of death pulled the draconic spirit into a staff, the staff became lost to the sands of time. This simple nereid found the staff and unlocked the spell holding the dragon’s soul. Malygosa found herself forever tied to Mesmer, but that doesn’t seem such a bad thing after decades of lonelyness. They now spend their days floating on the waves amd watching the vast celestial horizons glimmer above them. One day Maly will be able to fly once more, and that day she will take Mesmer with her to show the nereid where she came from in the stars.
