Tyrant is a drasilis who dabbled in dark magic, originally with good intentions, trying to find a way to bind the ghosts that appeared every halloween to the statues that had been finished but hadn’t sprung back to life. There was no one in particular he sought to brng back, he simply wished to do a community service so that he could finally get the appreciation he felt he had been deprived of for such a long time. But the more his investigations failed to turn up the results he wanted, the more interested he became in the results he was actually getting…

“Tyrant” as he now calls himself is a pretentious drasilis that holds the finer things in life—such as tea, books and the knowledge that he’s better than everyone else—in the highest regard. He often attempts to bring the forces of darkness into the living world, but at every turn he is foiled by a gneiss of three who draw their power from love, unity and compassion. Confound those three, confound them, confound them! Oh, how they drive him to drink! Drink tea that is. Lots of tea. He probably made a deal with some dark entity so that the amount of tea he drinks doesn’t kill him.

• Tyrant can enhance the negative emotions of any creature, feuling them and growing them until they explode outwards into a shadow wraith. The victim goes into a coma while the wraith is active, and if the negative emotions are resolved or the wraith has taken enough damage from an attack or weapon imbued with the magic of love or other such positive emotions, then the victim is freed with only a gap in their memory of their time as a wraith and the feeling that they woke up from a slightly restless sleep.
• Tyrant also has two shadowlings that do his bidding: Blip (on the left) and Blorp (on the right) They are not powerful fighters, bu they are adept at tracking down potential shadow wraiths for their BFF*ahem* Dark Master to infuse with dark magical energy. They don’t like hurting people—especially not children—but they revel in schadenfreude and unfortunate happenings that make one’s day a little more glum.
• In hand to hand combat, Tyrant is mildly capable. However, he is much more used to running away when the going gets rough in order to avoid injury to his person and to scheme a new, brilliant path to victory.
